Simone Ferracci, Maître Sommelier of the Mirabelle Restaurant
Simone Ferracci was born in Rome, a city that sees its final achievement. He
starts his hotel studies and at the same time completes an internship at the Grand
Hotel St. Regis, where he understands the importance of commitment and discipline
at work.
His first stop on his professional career is the "Symposium" of the Enoteca Costantini,
where he starts to appreciate the wine world. Other experiences follow at other
facilities that undoubtedly mark his career such as those at "Il Convivio", "LeSans
Souci," and the arrival with Heinz Beck at the "Pergola" of the Hotel Cavalieri
Hilton.
His intense passion for wine motivates him to achieve the Diploma of Professional
Sommelier, and later to visit the cellars of the most famous wine brand of Europe
in search of a professional enrichment.
In 2002 Ferracci is hired at the restaurant "La Pont de la Tour" in London, and
after nearly two years he moves to Boston where he takes the position of Assistant
Manager and wine consultant at the "Four Seasons Boston."
After 10 years of great cultural and professional experiences, in 2006 Ferracci
arrives at the "court" of Bruno Borghesi at the magic "Mirabelle Restaurant" of
the Hotel Splendide Royal in Rome, where he is currently the Head Sommelier.
