The smallest village of Switzerland

Located on the right side of the Verzasca Valley overlooking the lake of Vogorno, Corippo is an experience not to be forgotten. All the stone made historic buildings of the village are protected and were certified in 1975 as "exemplary achievements" for the European Architectural Heritage Year. Mont Brè by bike and Funicolar

The Tibetan Bridge

Barnard allows the passage of the rugged valley that separates the communities of Sementina and Monte Carasso, two towns located in front of Bellinzona. The bridge joins the stone made village of Curzútt to the hiking path of Via delle Vigne allowing you to explore an area characterised by a landscape that is rich in cultural heritages. The bridge itself is 270 metres long and stands at a height of 696 metres, if the vertigo is kicking in just thinking about it, then rest assured that the safety measures guarantee a risk-free approach meaning that the climb is suitable for adventurous individuals and families alike. Crossing the valley is a wonderful experience, gazing out over the lush green countryside you’ll feel completely at one with nature. The Ciambella, Ticino doughnut has been included in the Swiss Culinary Heritage; it is a spicy, crisp, crumbly, ring-shaped cookie with a hole in the center. "Not all donuts come with a hole" is a proverb said to console oneself or someone when something fails as it should.
At the Osteria degli Amici in Villa Luganese you can learn how to make doughnuts, and while you're waiting to bake them, a good local wine awaits you, along with salami and cheese from the region. And, at the end, you'll take your doughnuts home still warm!
