“My passion for wine started from curiosity. Initially I studied to become a lawyer and in the summertime I was working as a waiter to have some extra pocket money and enjoy life. Then I found myself very comfortable serving the guests, interacting with them and putting them at ease. But then guests kept asking a lot of questions but never really had answers, and there is where my curiosity started. There is always a passionate human being behind a great wine. I want to feel that passion, what makes their wine so special. With my job I have the chance to share the passion of those that created the wines with the guests in front of me, could be somebody that tastes it for the first time. When I manage to create a bridge between them, to pass the passion, the joys and sacrifices — this is fantastic, this is what gives me joy.”
