The Splendide’s commitment to nature is made up of many daily actions that involve both guests and staff, ethically encouraging everyone to do their part.

The hotel’s important and nuanced RENOVATION PROJECT is centred on creating new spaces and optimising the energy use of the current ones, making it the heart of the Splendide’s green transition. Two new hotel wings with a low environmental impact are currently in the design phase, in keeping with a project that will make hospitality here increasingly eco-sustainable. Greenness will also have visual prominence thanks to the creation of urban gardens, for a stay in even closer contact with nature. A secret garden and a hanging garden towards the lake are also about to be created, which will allow guests to experience the environment with colours that continually change according to the seasons.

The Splendide strives to constantly enhance the natural landscape through sales packages, promotions and communications aimed at putting the local territory and unique naturalistic features centre stage. Actions are taken every day to protect the environment at a glocal level, such as the complete elimination of the use of disposable plastic materials, as well as a progressive decrease in the use of paper with a project to digitise the internal archives and a drastic reduction for check-in and check-out processes.
