“Nowadays everything is running fast, but the real secret in the kitchen is to turn back and look at the past. Cooking for me is not a job, it means to express what is inside me, which could be a feeling, a thought or even a memory. When I am in the kitchen and I cook, I feel I can express all my emotions without any boundaries. In every dish I prepare I put all the feelings and passion that I have inside me. In life, each of us has a goal; mine is to bring emotions through my creations.”

The gastronomic soul of Domenico Ruberto contains all the flavours of his birthplace in southern Italy, and marries them with Ticinesi products and the contemporary addition of high cuisine. If you love good food, our chef creates a gastronomic concept that allows you to savour all the tastes and aromas of Mediterranean cuisine. He believes in sourcing local ingredients. His dishes are designed to pay homage to seasonal produce and excellent raw materials. His unique signature way of cooking, and great personality transforms all his recipes into small masterpieces of taste. His work has been rewarded at I Due Sud restaurant with 16/20 by GaultMillau.
