The Concierge will provide you with information about cars and boats and conditions of hire, he will be glad to make reservations for you.

FOREIGN CURRENCY EXCHANGE
Major foreign currencies can be exchanged at the reception desk.
GARAGE AND PARKING
The garage is available at an extra charge. On request our Doorman will park your car for you in one of our parking lots. The daily parking fee will be charged directly to your Hotel bill. The hotel assumes no liability for damage occurred while the car is parked.
SHOE CLEANING SERVICE
Please place your shoes outside your room door in the evening and call the Concierge. You will find them outside your door again the next morning after they have been cleaned.
TRANSFERS
Our Concierge will be pleased to make arrangements for any transportation requirements.
The hotel's chauffeured minivan is available free of charge upon reservation from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm from/to Lugano Airport and railway station.

CHECK-OUT
Check-out time is at 12:00 noon. If an extension of this time is necessary, please check with the front desk before 10:00 am. Failure to contact the front desk before check-out time will result in an additional charge.

VALUABLES
The hotel cannot accept responsibility for your personal belongings left on the premises including your room. Valuable items may be stored in your in room safe or in the deposit boxes at the reception office.
Equipment
MINIBAR
Drinks in the minibar and snacks are not included in the room price. Your minibar is checked and billed daily by the hotel staff. However, only on your departure day, you are kindly asked to report your last 24 hours’ consumption to the front desk for your final bill. Non-declared consumption will be charged on your credit card.
SAFE
A personal safe is installed in each guest room, should you wish to deposit your personal belongings and valuables. Please read the operating instructions placed on the safe. Kindly leave the safety box open on departure. Your valuables can also be deposited in a safe at the front desk.
The hotel cannot accept responsibility for valuables left in the guest rooms, which have not been placed in the safe. Please protect your belongings placing them in the in-room safe or in the safety deposit box available at the reception. The Hotel is liable only to the extent that theft can be proven on the part of the Hotelier and/or his employees, and even in such cases, liability is limited to a maximum of CHF 10’000.-.
VOLTAGE
The hotel’s electricity supply is 220 Volts. Please contact the Concierge to supply you with transformers, adaptors and extension cords.

EMERGENCY
For any kind of emergency, please dial 111 and state your location and type of emergency.
EMERGENCY EXIT
Direction signs indicating your location as well as the quickest way to the emergency exit can be found behind the door of your room.
EMERGENCY STAIRS
There are emergency stairs on every floor marked with appropriate signs. Please note the safety instructions on the inside of the entry door to your hotel room.
EVACUATION
In case of evacuation, remain calm, get to the ground floor using the emergency stairs. You will be guided by the hotel staff to the assembly point located on our parking lot behind the hotel or on the sidewalk by the lake outside of the main entrance of the hotel, on Riva Antonio Caccia.
FIRE ALARM
In the event of an emergency, please dial 111 on your telephone and state the location of fire, then proceed to the nearest emergency exit and reach the assembly point showed by our staff. Do not use the lifts.

Please contact the Concierge. The hotel also has a defibrillator.

The Hotel Splendide Royal is monitored by an automatic fire detection system. In case of fire the automatic fire detectors will immediately give the alarm.
What to do in case of fire?
- Alert the Concierge and the people in the neighbouring rooms.
- Keep calm.
- Follow instructions from our staff.
- Please do not use the lift.
- Leave the hotel through the emergency exits.
If there is smoke in the corridor?
- Close the room doors.
- Alert the Concierge.
- Go to the window or onto the balcony and attract attention.

Housekeeping (6215)
DRY CLEANING
Dry cleaning service is available from Monday to Friday, items collected before 9:00 am will be delivered the same evening. Please fill in the dry-cleaning form, place the items in the laundry bag located in your wardrobe and call Housekeeper for collection.
EVENING TURN-DOWN SERVICE
Every evening the housekeeper will take care of the evening turn-down service of your room.
IRONING
The ironing service is available every day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. For more information and for the service outside the working hours, please contact the housekeeper.
LAUNDRY
Our laundry service is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please fill in the laundry service form, place the items in the laundry bag located in your wardrobe and call Housekeeper for collection. Normal service: laundry handed in by noon will be returned by 5:00 pm the following day. Express service: laundry handed in before 10:00 am will be delivered to your room by 5:00 pm the same day. After service hours and during public holidays please call the Concierge.
